Is the EmediateAd system available in several language versions?

Yes, EmediateAd is available in an English, Swedish, German, Italian and Finnish version. It’s Emediate’s mission to make it as easy as possible for our customers to make the best use of their ad spaces. When using systems like EmediateAd with a lot of functions and features, it is an advantage to the user when both the system and the support are in the native language.

Is it possible to target a specific audience when using EmediateAd?

Yes, there are several ways to reach different users through EmediateAd. You have the option to set a specific targeting for each campaign. The targeting options include, but are not restricted to:

• Geo targeting – Target audiences in specific cities, regions or countries.
• Search words – Target audiences searching for a specific word on your website.
• Categories – Deliver certain campaigns to certain subsections of your webpage.
• Frequency – Set the number of times a campaign can be shown to a specific user in a certain time frame.
• Specific dates - Set the specific dates within a time frame and then the campaign will only be shown on the specific dates.
• Specific hours of the day - Set the specific hours of the day within a time frame and then the campaign will only be shown in these specific hours.

Can I do behavioral targeting in EmediateAd?

Yes, it is possible to target specific users based on the way they navigate on a website or across several websites. For instance, if a user visits the car pages on a news site and then navigates to the sport section, the user can still be exposed to car ads while visiting the sport pages.

Is it possible to do targeting on creatives within a campaign?

Yes, it is possible to use the full set of targeting parameters on creatives as well as campaigns. For instance, if running a campaign targeting users in a country, it is possible to expose specific ads to users from a certain region of the country.

Is it possible to get a quick overview of the performance of a specific campaign or placement?

Yes, EmediateAd has a very fast and detailed reporting interface which makes it possible to give both advertisers and site owners a quick, general overview as well as detailed information on campaign and placement performance.

Can the statistics and reporting functions in EmediateAd be automated so I don’t have to spend time pulling out reports?

Yes, all reports can be automated and emailed to you whenever you want to - for instance, every hour, every day at 12.00 etc.

What kind of reports can I choose from?

Reporting in EmediateAd is primarily based on either advertiser and/or site standard reporting. This makes it possible to report on both campaigns and placements with all available targeting parameters. Thereby, it’s possible to deliver the information requested from all business units – easy and quickly.

Upgrades

If I have implemented EmediateAd 3.12 will I have to pay for the upgrade to 3.13?

No, all feature upgrades are included in the price. The upgrades happen automatically. We will notify you when it happens and inform about new features etc. but you don’t have to do anything.

Is support and training available in several languages?

Yes, we know that our customers appreciate getting support in their native language. Consequently, we have chosen to offer support by email and telephone in local languages.

Is it possible to get ongoing training in EmediateAd to keep developing my skills and to avoid them from getting rusty?

Yes, Emediate regularly arranges workshops that are free of charge. We offer workshops where the overall topic is general EmediateAd system training as well as workshops where we go more in depth with certain features and the latest developments.
It is also possible to purchase extra personal training if you need more than what’s included in your agreement.

Mobile & video ads

Can I use EmediateAd for booking and handling ads for mobile phones?

Yes, the flexibility of EmediateAd makes it possible to integrate it on any digital platform. You can also target specific mobile platforms, so certain ads will only show to users with a particular mobile device.

Can I book and use streaming videos and prerolls with EmediateAd?

Yes, it is possible to use Emediate’s pre-developed video ad serving solution or do a special integration to any video player. All campaign handling and reporting will still be from one interface to give both sales and booking personnel the best possible experience and overview.

What types of video formats are supported by EmediateAd?

Any video format is compatible with EmediateAd, but you should make sure that the video player you want to use is compatible with the video you host in EmediateAd. Implementing a video player at your website can be a complex operation, so if you need further information please contact the Emediate support team, and they will guide you through the process.

Is it possible to integrate EmediateAd with other systems such as CRM, CMS or financial systems?

Yes, EmediateAd has a very well documented, multifunctional API (Application Program Interface) that enables customers to exchange data, reports or actual tasks between EmediateAd and other systems such as CRM, CMS or financial systems.

What is the uptime for EmediateAd?

We guarantee a 99,7% system uptime measured on a monthly rolling basis, even though we aim at 99,996% uptime and have a history of 99,98%.

How is EmediateAd hosted?

EmediateAd requires no local Client installation. The platform is managed, either as an ASP solution requiring no set-up, software, hardware or network maintenance costs, or as a licensed solution hosted either on Emediate’s hosting center or locally with the customer. Both solutions are accessed through a standard web browser.
