Management Team Seth Homayoon, Chief Executive Officer With
more than 25 years of experience in the development, marketing and
implementation of telecommunications products and applications, Seth has
demonstrated proven leadership in the creation and adoption of innovative
technologies and applications. Prior to Emediate Networks, Seth was the
General Manager of Network Products and the Vice President of Marketing at
Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, where he spearheaded the effort
to develop network-provisioned computer telephony integration (CTI)
technologies. As the General Manager of CTI Products and the Vice
President of Marketing of Fiberworld Products at Nortel Networks, Seth
managed introductions of major network innovations, including Intelligent
Networks, Open Network Architecture and CTI. Seth is a graduate of McGill
University in Electrical Engineering.
Francis
Shinsato, Chief Financial Officer Francis
has more than 20 years of financial management experience. Prior
to joining Emediate Networks, Francis served as the Chief Financial
Officer for Tag-It Pacific, Inc., where he guided them through a
successful IPO. He has also worked as Vice President of Finance and
Controller for Newport Electronics and as an accounting and systems
consultant for Price Waterhouse. Francis earned his MBA from
Harvard Business School and also holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from
California Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Electrical Engineering from
the University of Southern California. He is also a CPA and a Professional
Engineer certified with the State of California.
Gerald
Wilson, Vice President Systems Integration Dr.
Wilson joined Emediate in September 2000, bringing over 25 years of
experience in designing and building complex networks of heterogeneous
software systems, artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and managing
software organizations. Prior to joining Emediate, he was President
of Omnisoft, Inc., the company he founded in 1990, which provides consulting
expertise to major organizations, including NASA, Space Systems/Loral,
and Hughes Space Systems. Previous
projects include military
application of AI, GPS tracking tools, network appliance testing, specialized
real-time and embedded software systems. Dr. Wilson earned his PhD and
MS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and BA in Psychology
from Lehigh University. Nicholas
Romero, Chief Designer Before becoming a founder of Emediate, Nicholas had been deeply involved with the Telecommunications industry for over 10 years. He has served as Systems Architect at Genesys Labs, Systems Designer at TeleTech and Network Manager at WilTel. Nicholas as extensive experience in designing and implementing high performance large scale networks, integration of mission critical computing systems and building complex distributed software applications. Nicholas received His Education at University of Tulsa. |
